Reviews

"We absolutely Loved this place! Amy & Marcel were Fabulous hosts! This was an immersive experience into the life of the early settlers of the Plains, but with modern conveniences. The wagon & the expansive open land around it made for a wonderful, relaxing private evening around the campfire while star gazing, without light pollution. Host provided firewood & supplies including sturdy outdoor furniture on a level gravel pad. All safety features were planned for ahead of time by the host inside & out. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Linens were high quality & in excellent condition. Fantastic use of space, without feeling crowded or cluttered. Bottled water, snacks & coffee bar were greatly appreciated. We were awoken at 2:30a.m. by the high pitched yip & bark of coyotes but were relieved to hear the deep bark of the host’s 2 Great Pyrenees dogs Apollo & Scout as we watched them in the moonlight chase away the predators. Such a comforting feeling. We will definitely be back!"

"Wonderful Experience! I’ve had many glamping experiences throughout the US , & this one hits the top of my list—& it was only 40 minutes from my home. Even though it was in the upper 90s, it was very comfortable both inside & outside the wagon. Gas grill worked well, & the supplied firewood for the adjacent fire pit gave us a chance to enjoy the magnificent twinkling stars & constellations w/ a side of s’mores. Inside the wagon— air conditioner worked well, & my 80 yr old mom loved the convenience of the interior bathroom. Nice to have a mini fridge & microwave & appreciated the treats, water & Keurig w/ K-cups that were not all coffee, but cocoa & tea too. Our hosts Amy & Marcel were super nice , & they introduced us to their alpacas— ask Mateo for a kiss, & say hi to the ducks— all named after Amy’s Aunts. If driving through the area, do not hesitate for a chance to spoil yourself , & have a 21st century pioneer wagon experience!"

"Hosts met us as soon as we parked and offered us beverages. They were very welcoming and friendly. They took us to the covered wagon and showed us around the farm, and gave us food to hand feed their alpacas and ducks. They introduced us to the dogs and cats and helped carry the paddle boat to the pond. The Farm is beautiful and secluded. The wagons are brand new, and all the appliances and housewares are high end. They really did think of everything and did not spare any expenses on this place. Had an AMAZING and RELAXING visit. Highly recommend!!!"
