ADRIANO'S BRICK OVEN

Adriano’s is a family-owned and operated Glenwood favorite, located approximately 20 minutes from Best Nest Farm in the historic downtown Glenwood square. Adriano’s is best known for their amazing wood fired pizza, but also served such favorites as salads, toasted raviolis, wings, and specialty sandwiches. Possibly one of the best kept local secrets, Parea is a sophisticated cocktail lounge, offering classic and innovative craft cocktails as well as a extensive selection of draft and bottled beer. KEG CREEK BREWERY

Keg Creek Brewing acquired its name from bootleggers who rolled barrels of whiskey into the creek to hide them from liquor control agents during Prohibition. Founded in 2011, Keg Creek is a small taproom with a hometown feel. They offer more than 30 varieties of beer, with approximately 24 on tap at any given time. This is a beer lover’s paradise! They often feature live entertainment and food trucks on the weekend. Enjoy your brew in the taproom or out on the patio. Keg Creek is 20 minutes from Best Nest Farm, off highway 34 in Glenwood.

BODEGA VICTORIANA

Located 15 minutes from Best Nest, Bodega Victoriana is a vineyard and winery established on a century old farm. Their wines are all made with grapes grown in the Loess Hills of Western Iowa and they are influenced in style by the fabulous wines from Spain where the owners lived for many years. Enjoy a bottle of wine and a meat and cheese board in the beautiful tasting room , or on the deck overlooking the vineyard. Hours: Saturday-Sunday 12-5pm. Sugar Makery

Glenwood's favorite family-owned sweet shop is located in the heart of downtown Glenwood, approximately 15 minutes from Best Nest. They feature specialty gourmet popcorn, including caramel, cheese and candy flavors crafted with real butter and real cane sugar. Also featured is a chocolate case filled with handcrafted chocolate treats, including homemade fudge. Other treats to enjoy include ice cream, cookies, cakes, truffles, loads of candy (many favorites from your childhood!), sodas and much more. Hours: Sunday noon-8pm, Monday-Saturday 11am-8pm.
